How to buy Rebellion for less if you have the originial Sins?

Hey, guys, I am thinking very hard about whether or not to buy Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion, and found out that it is $10 cheaper if you already have the original Sins game. However, on the website of Sins of a Solar Empire itself, I have not found a thing mentioning that or a spot to put in some sort of code of the original. so my question is: How do I get the game for less if I cannot find a way to put in a code of the original? My apologies if this sounds a bit scrambled.

IIRC they discontinued that about a year ago. Flip side, Rebellion goes on sale quite often now (may be why they discontinued the discount) so you just have to wait a month or two before it goes on sale.

If you use steam, put it on your wishlist to get alerted when it goes on sale. It's been up to 75% off, I.e. $10, before. You can also try and trade for a coupon on steam, usually they're at least 66% off, though I haven't seen anyone trading for those lately.
