Love all the ships everyone! Also the turret!

Now that I'm done my first 9 ship sets, its time to flesh them out a bit. Started adding to the my pirates... a alternative destroyer and a huge-hull stationary battle station.

I made several ships for the Terrans while playing the campaign.  first up, Tiny ships, AKA Strike craft.

first up, the Seriphem Fighter, a mean little thing I usually arm with beam weapons:

and its cousins, the missile/kinetic hybrid Grigori Bomber;

and the usually kinetic-armed Cherubim Fighter:

next up, Small Ship Corvettes!

first up, my support ship, usually equipped with things like Survey modules, sensor systems, and the various Fleet Booster modules that don't need the rare resources, the Herald Corvette is distictive due to its foreward 'shield':

secondly, the backbone of my patrol fleets, armed with a mix of all three weapon types, the Artemis class Attack Corvette is a fearsome foe to any raiding fleet:

on to Capital ships!

first up, my most common capital, produced in vast numbers, the Galahad Frigate! capable of being armed with a wide varity of weapons systems, the most common variants feature heavy beam armament or beams backed by missiles, a potent combination that makes the Galahad shine:

and lastly, becuase I liked the stock Large and Huge ships just fine, we have the big boy.

while ususally lightly armed for a ship of its size, the Templar typically mounts a pair of hanger bays and a large number of support modules that make it disproportionately deadly when leading a fleet. Rare, even more powerful variants boasting advanced support modules and heavy Elerium beam weapons have been sighted. when a Templar enters the field, retreat is advised.

This here is 'Almoghavar' class Republic Enforcement Vessel, it's the mainstay of my fleet!

Sort of, but my ships all follow a similar design philosophy, angled plating to deflect impacts, the fancy heat diffusion panels in the back and so forth, so they don't look that different from each other, I'm afraid.

I must be an idiot.  I spent quite some time looking around and couldn't find a way to save/export my ship (or collection of parts) as new parts.  From what I can tell it can be done.  Can you guys help?

After Tomorrowland and a good helping of this thread, I've been struck by the desire to share. <_< So, here's my first and only design thus far.. vaguely reminiscent of the Terran Battlecruiser from Starcraft. My custom race has an automagic zealous-like naming structure for the ships so I called it:

once the Workshop's up and running, I may have to pick those up, if only to play "how many Carrier modules can I cram into one ship?" with 'em.

especially as I tended to go for Basestar-inspired themes in II a lot.

Very nice.. I like to design car. It is my passion. I like to design armored cars. I found it id very nice car. No any car can compare this car.

Thanks guys! Will definitely try and get them on the workshop when its out.  Will probably try a few original designs, and maybe a couple more from the show. Resurrection Hub if i can think of a ship that fits, Colony would be cool too.
