Founders Clarification

Just a preface- I searched this topic initially, but found no true clarification, so here it goes.

Do Founders (vanilla, not elite) get alpha access as well? If so, then as I understand it the elite version simply adds the future DLCs for the additional price.

Thanks in advance for your time.

No, I believe standard founders get Beta access, but not Alpha.

Ahhh. Now that makes more sense.

Neither here nor there, however, as I'm an Elite Founder now as well!

CAN'T WAIT FOR THE 27TH!

I am abit confused.

The game is about to go out on steam for early access later this week right?

But only Founder Elites get access to it?  Do I have to buy it again on steam to be able to test it the 27th?

I am a basic founder.

As a basic founder, you bought the beta and the full game when it comes out.  Elite founders bought access to the alpha, beta, the full game, all DLC and expansions and an opportunity to name a star.

You can upgrade form basic to elite founder though.  I don't know who to contact for that, but there are Stardock folks roaming these forums and you can PM one of them if you're interested.

You can upgrade to Founder's Elite here.

Right now, the Founder's Elite are the only ones who get alpha access, and that will be the same thing that will be available on Steam.

Yeah, I upgraded from basic to elite so I know it still can be done. B)

If you don't upgrade, you'll get your Steam key for the game as a regular founder when the beta period starts.
