Gal Civ III on OSX and Gal Civ II on iOS

Is there any chance that Gal Civ III will be available on Mac OSX or that Gal Civ II will make it to iOS.

Certainly the later at least would make business sense.

They are evaluating their options. They haven't said yes or no yet. They'll let us know when they are reasonably sure they can pull it off or not.

I noticed recently on Steam that there are quite a few indie strategy and other indie games (including two space strategy games) available for both PC & Mac.

I remember a few years ago, on the Gal Cil II forum, someone asked whether Gal Civ II would ever be ported to Mac and the answer was 'no' because it was not economical to do so.

Since then there have been big changes in the gaming industry especially with regards to games on mobile devices.

Anyway, fingers crossed that the Gal Civ universe will some day expand beyond PC.

Amen to that.  The market is very different now than it was in 2006, so much so that I'm a little surprised that Stardock is still so heavily invested in being Windows-only.  I sincerely hope that they change their tune, as I love their games and would really like to play this one.  But with Wine not an option for GalCiv 3, a native port is going to be my only option.
