To Stardock: suggestions for acquiring gaming franchises

Someone pleaded for Imperium Galactic War but I got some other suggestions for franchises Stardock might have a look at for possible acquisition.

Probably a longshot, but if I don't say it, it'll keep gnawing at me.

1) Imperium Galactica
This would make a great real-time counterpart for Galactic Civilizations.
(If you (Stardock) want to have a look, but can't find a copy, I've got an extra one plus a disc with all updates)

2) Fallen Haven
Turn-based game where you have to conquer regions of a map (of a distant world) and fortify them. A lot like the game 'Z' but a lot better looking.

Syndicate.

Also, there's an older, li'l known strategy game from some time in the '90s (I think). Had a ridiculous premise and took place in many-leveled caves. While you're building cities and expanding in one large area, while battling it out with other civs, you or someone else can dig up or down to reach an entirely new area to explore and expand in. Could dig to invade, etc.

Had men riding dinosaurs while while firing 50-cal cannons.

Chaos Chronicles

Bridge the gap between bitComposer and Coreplay and make this awesome game happen :)

^wow so ur one of the legendary folks?

Exactly. Unfortunately development has stopped due to a conflict between the publisher and developer, which is tragic because it was close to completion and looked to be an excellent game.

As for legendary folk - huh? If you're referring to the founder badge, it's just because I've preordered GC3...

Yeah, I hadn't come across it until you mentioned it. Yet when I looked it did appear like there was very little of it to be had. Looks pretty damned cool, though.

And I assumed he was talkin' 'bout me.

Remake of the Civilization styled game called Call to Power! Perfect for Stardock.

Bullshit, get Dark Wizard and then make it good...it wasn't very good...but I loved it!

I'm still saying WING COMMANDER: ARMADA.

Turn-based strategy of base/empire building with first-person fleet combat, piloting whatever craft you want. I was insane for it for quite a while.

If we're going to mine that area, lets take a step closer to Sid Meier and grab Alpha Centauri.  (which I've always considered GalCiv to be kind of a spiritual spin-off of anyway.)

Deadlock II: Shrine Wars (don't know about #1) falls into the same category as Civilization and Alpha Centauri but is probably cheaper to acquire.

I loved that game, still got in in my closet somewhere

How about Master of Orion

Master of Orion is a no-go. Wargaming (world of tanks) bought the rights to that franchise when they were auctioned of recently. Stardock made a bid on it too, but apparently not high enough.

Ah did not know that, thanks. Too bad Stardock was not able to get it.

Stardock needs a FPS in its arsenal: NO ONE LIVES FOREVER 3!

Seriously. . .

I'd love to see Kohan rescued, but don't know who if anyone owns the rights now.

Well in that same year of the train wreck known as Moo3 (master of orion 3) release.   A game company also released a game called GalCiv,

though they don't have the name, they have the spirit which made Moo & Moo2 great.

I love trying to find the best ways to spend Brad's money.  I could be such a good wife to you Brad!  If only our wives and heterosexuality wasn't in the way!

Anyways, back to spending Brad's money.  I want a new Buck Rogers game.  Loved that on my Sega Gen...  Let's see...Dune could use some love...

You just want to ride Brad's worm...

Brad doesn't need to acquire other game franchises.  He's too busy founding whole new game studios every time he gets bored.
