I appreciate that, Campaigner, but if you haven't played the game, it's pretty difficult (though not impossible) to get a feeling for how a wide variety of images--terrain, combat enemies, heroes, building a military unit interface, etc--look like, and at various degrees from far to near. Playing it and then after that doing that a while, using the shader, would seem to be an important first step in determining whether that any help is needed. For myself, I'm perfectly happy with the look it has now. But each to their own.
