Bring back the metaverse

Hi,

 

Now that FE/LH is awesome id love it if the metaverse (or whatever the scored version of GalCiv2 was called) revisited or reimplemented. That was such an awesome feature, made single player sorta multiplayer and added badges ect to forum profiles based on skill level played on and alignment in game as well as scores number of wins ect.

Will just add so much to the replayability - and gives a reason/makes you play without save loading :)

The Metaverse was a definite part of what kept me playing GC, though not quite as well done as CivFanatics HoF and competitive play, it was still a nice bonus. Just need some enterprising soul to create a utility similar to the Buffy/HoF mod to weed out the save/reload crew.
