"All files successfully verified"!

I think that's a first, no pref or cache reloading.

Steam exclusive??? Wasn't aware of that... why? I bought directly from Stardock to avoid Steam, yet it seems to be the only way to download... would you please reconsider this and add download links from Stardock for us who do not want Steam and bought from you?

Thanks.

Do you not sell the map pack on steam for LH?

Lol!! Just booted mine up and it's still the beta 0.95

We (apparently) wanted achievements so LH is "steamworks" which means no playing without steam client.

Hmm, wait, is the map pack just included by default? I see the map types there from it. I didn't realize that. Does it have the improvements to random map generation as well?

Whelp. I got about 12 turns in and the game crashed.

Disappointing.

Thanks.

It keeps creeping up, and while I agree with you in that I don't want this game to be steam exclusive, Brad has already made it clear that the benefits of steam exclusive are far out weighing any downsides.

Fact is too many people are just too comfortable with steam, where ever the future of that company will lead them.

Steam is good. Not bad. Valve is an amazing company just like Stardock is. And imho that will only breed good things

So yeah let us see all the new players overflow the forums with complaints that are to be handled.

One point towards a released game is the amount of feedback gained from it!

Yea, I'm generally pretty happy with my Steam experience, never gives me any troubles. All of my games in one handy little box, a great workshop community, easy as heck to stay in touch with and game with friends. Learned about and bought a lot of games I'd likely never have considered, and met some cool folks.

Guess that means I approve of the move to Steam, hope to see this bring a lot of new customers to Stardock's door.
