Suggestion concerning Golems

I think Golems should get overpower as a skill, currently they are trough but quite weak compared to other units you can train at that point in the game. I think overpowered would fit with what the Golem is and make up for the fact that they are single units.

Golems are pretty weak.  They need something.  Maybe a damage boost or overpower would work.

I think they should have more defensive abilities that rival what the Juggernauts can do offensively.

A few things off of the top of my head are:

1. innate -50% damage from physical attacks/

2. +1 defense every time they are attacked/

3. weapon break= unit absorbs next attack and the unit that attacked them have 50% less attack for remainder of battle/

4. spell absorption= if a spell is cast on them before their next turn they can absorb the damage from the spell and get 1 random buff dependent on the nature of spell that was cast. this buff should be permanent for that unit until death or dispelled/

 

Anyway, these guys should be a pain to kill.

Also why do golems cost unkeep?.

I haven't played Gilden since the last patches so i don't know if they fixed this but if they didn't they at least should be free so they could have the role of defending cities for free at least.

Making golems  as defensive as Juggernauts are offensive is a great idea. At the least, Golems should be given the new trait given to the champion ogre that gives a unit +1 defense per level. Upkeep makes sense, as someone has to repair and service the things.
