Two nations lack default sovereight
Well, mancers and urxen lack defaul sovereight, rendering them unplayable without creating custom one, this is nice way to force player to create new hero, but, still not good.

Those two nations got cut from Fallen Enchantress. More time was spent making each kingdom/empire unique. This is why. The shells were left in and players can make their own custom sovereigns. At some point I imagine they'll appear in an expansion or dlc.
Hey hey! This is an expansion...
just saying.
otherwise, it's actually nice that there are extra base faction set ups, as you aren't just diverging from the core few factions. It'd be nice if they even went so far as to add a few more to play with. It gives a bit more variety to the replay.
It's also nice that even the AI can use them too once you set them up.....although fighting a character who I made after me was a little strange....but I did take a lot of stabs before I went down!
Eh..what?
But seriously, now that we have a new hero system maybe we can see Kul and Mancer dude - and their factions - back in the game as default options.
they already ingame, new heroes for this factions are present, i noticed theese faction when got champion from one.
there is completely no reason to not add two more heroes and add them to game by default.
I made new sovereigns for them and they are in my current game. See no problem with them so far. If you really really want, when this game gets released, I may actually add original sovereigns as a mod. Not that hard to do.
yeah I got General Carrodus as one of the level 9 champion picks (i think at 400 fame) and as far as i know, he's supposed to be the "canon" leader for capitar. I actually looked up Carrodus and Kul-al-Kulan in the XML files and re-created them as custom sovs for their respective faction. ha dto fill in some blanks since the Carrodus champion is level 9 and has stuff like Air 3/Life 3 which might be slightly overpowered for a level one sov ![]()
It's fairly easy to add them to the game as custom sov, so maybe the devs will eventually consider adding them back in as premade characters. I think the only real difference between the standard sovs and the custom guys is the voiceover at the very start of a new game. I could personally live without that, but presumably it wouldn't be that much work to record a person reading the few lines of text, either?
