Cloth map missing information (Elemental + FE + LH)

I usually play on the cloth map, and one thing that has bothered me is that the City "icon" is not on the Cloth map. This results in no visual information of Essence slots, nor what "job" the city is doing (unless you click on it).

Completely agree with this.  I use the cloth map a lot, not because my computer can't handle the 3D map - just because it looks so cool.  Having the same level of information for cities that's available on the 3D map would be a huge win.

Yeah, same here. I love the look/design of the cloth map.

Oh, and another thing....

Would be nice to have a "Cloth-battles" option.

One of the reasons for the cloth-map is it's a great solution for low-end machines, but having full gfx battles kinda messes things up. Not to mention it ruins the experience for us that enjoy the cloth-map.

I would like to see the city blurbs in the cloth map as well.  It really does hinder use of the cloth map.  Some things are just easier to see on the cloth map.

I would also like to have the option to have monsters show up on the cloth map the same way they do in the 3D map.  Those pieces all look the same to me at my zoom level (and considering it's only supposed to switch to the cloth map when you've zoomed out a bit...).  At least add some color to the pieces.

I think you are missunderstanding the point of the cloth map.

That is by design. Using the "cloth map" is supposed to make your game look like a classic boardgame. So yes, the monsters will look like boardpieces no matter what zoom level.

If you do not have the "cloth map" option selected, then when you zoom far out it will switch to cloth as a "map overview".
