[Bug] Command ability

Command

So while trying out the new command ability from the Command tree that lets any unit its used on have there turn straight away I found a game breaking bug (as you do in beta). I used it on a unit next to my hero using the ability (so I might have accidentally clicked on the hero), and from then on only my hero moved, the enemy and my other units just sat there. The hero didn't appear on the list showing unit moves on the left.

My guess would be that the script for the ability doesn't uncheck (if I did accidentally click on my hero that is) that the unit just finished its turn and therefore when the unit ends its turn it grants them another turn as if the ability had just been used.

Hope my bug reports been helpful.

I've had the same thing happen.

Hero:  Donya

Specialty:  Defender

Hero Ability 'Command' when used for the second time in a battle will lock all other units and only allow the caster to move/fight.

This lasts until the 'Command' ability comes off cool down.  Casting it once more will again lock all other units save for the caster to move/fight.

Caster of 'Command' can still use other abilities before and after the second casting of 'Command' (the second casting is when the bug shows.)

Units that can 'Counter Attack' will do so when attacked, but only once.

'Command' does not need to be cast on the same unit twice, just cast twice in the same battle.

Hitting the Auto-Play button at the top right will have the casting unit move about randomly, the unit will cast 'Command' each time it's up.  I did not witness the unit attack anything, just walk about and re-cast 'Command' when it was off cool down.

Hitting the Auto Resolve button at the top right = Auto win.  No other casualties/damage is taken, even from units that can 'Counter Attack'.

If the 'Command' ability is not used a third time, the armies unlock and you can continue the battle as normal.  Casting 'Command' at any time will lock the armies again.

I just wanted to say, this is like the most beautiful bug report I've ever seen on a forum ;) gonna go verify that I can get it to happen too now... thanks so much! :)

I just had a variant of this occur. A Commander specialist unit named Gaylyn the Gray. Cast 'Command' for the second time of a battle on my sovereign, an archer, two squares away. Gaylyn immediately entered into an infinite turn loop - her turn refreshed repeatedly until the battle ended.

I did not make any attempts to recast the 'Command' spell during this infinite loop. I will admit to making good use of it to (slowly) wipe out a mass of enemy skeletons = P (Note: The skeletons were in two stacks, each having the counterattack ability once per turn. Each countered Gaylyn once, and only once.)

ETA: Having read this post and added to it myself, I subsequently went and tried to trigger the break in my next battle. Lo and behold...

Casting 'Command' twice in the same fight (on Gaylyn both times, this time) immediately put her into an infinite turn loop. This time around, I attempted to break her out of it (casting 'Command' on herself and other units in play as it refreshed), to no avail. Again, I chipped away at two groups of skeletons, which each countered me once and only once.
