Capitol transfer?

Hi guys, i am surprised that stardock didnt charge us to buy this expansion if they already own previous software. I was messing around with the game trying to understand it. I didnt like the previous game awhile back, feel that many things were missing and GUIs, etcs.

Anyway i looked on reference for improvements to see if i could transfer capitol to another location, sometimes the starting area may not good place to develop. Unless there already a button that i missed.

Want to say that i am much happier with this expansion than it was before, cant remember how old the other game is. It been awhile since i played. Thank Stardock for letting us have or having a discount for previous Elemental.

You don't need to build the first city (your capital) on the first location you have close by. You can try to find a better one with your sovereign. Of course, this brings some other risks, like you falling behind the AIs or your sov dying to a wandering monster and then it's game over :-)...

In any case, if you don't like your starting position you can always Ctrl+N for a better one.

As stated, if you press Ctrl+N, a new map will be generated (faster than starting a new game, but sometimes it leads to a crash if abusing).

Anyway, take in mind that randomness is big part of this game, so having a "perfect" place to start will be "uncommon" or "rare" ;) and might take many times trying. And once you explore, you might find that there are no other good things near...or big lakes, or long mountains...
