I just don't like the name Procipenee

Where do you think the name came in from the first place? 

Her father took a look at her temper and decided to name her Porcupine, but had a beer and misspelled it.

There was a movie released a few years ago Tristan & Isolde,  saw that name and was like "WTF" i have NEVER seen a more stupid looking name for a woman, in my entire life!

I think it depends on how you articulate it. I tend to read it as Proci-pen-ay, so it doesn't really sound all that bad. *shrugs*

Tristan and Isolde is an opera by Richard Wagner; based of an 12th century poem.

I suspect Procipenee is a derivation of Prosephone, the Greek goddess of Hades.

I think your thinking of the Roman spelling of Persephone - Proserpina? Both are pretty stupid names although Persephone is a nice name phonetically, as for Proserpina, well i think we all know what to do back in school for any girl with that name!!!

Glory be to Queen Porcupine, May her quills never be rubbed the wrong way. This is how I saw it when I was skimming over information about the game for the first time. And it stuck given her ridiculous name... Does she have a shortened name or nickname, it doesn't seem right calling her Procie...

Ya I have to make an effort to not read it as porcupine. In fact, my brain actually tends to read it as Princess Porcupine, even though it clearly says Queen. I guess my brain just likes to be ridiculous.

Endiaron the Wizard - isn't it stylish? Valetol the elf is not that bad either. Just avoid the obvious ones like Kinedryl.

I didn't like it when I put the accent on the third last syllable - Procipe'nee.

But I like it more when I accent the second, - Proci'penee (like Persephone)

Many are not derived from English, like Isolde, so is old probably did not occur to Wagner.

As for not liking the name, custom faction, change it, voila.
