Building Wonders Limitations

You really have to race to get to the technologies to build wonders if you want to build them because it seems that as soon as another faction STARTS to build one, you can't start one too. It isn't a race to see who finishes, but a race to see who starts. I wish it was the later. The former is kind of a bummer. Doesn't seem to be any simple way to mod that out either.

I always am bothered with wonders, they just don't do anything for my fun factor, at least in elemental they are not necessary.

I hope someone helps me make a mod to get rid of the damn bastards and create some fun buildings instead
