Settlement Names

Is there anyway to get a box to pop up when you settle so that you can name your town? I've hated every single name it has come up with so far and I always rename settlements for flavor and also strategic reasons on larger maps.

Also is there any way to setup a Custom Faction's towns so that they follow a list of names like the default factions? New Hallas, Resoln, Hope, etc actually sound like town names and it would be great if I could make my own list too!

No offense but the random town names or whatever make me think there is some algorithm where the computer smashes its face against the keyboard. Its a sad state of affairs when names like Nouagasogf and Zoabhnaog are some of the better ones

Yea, the random name generator is pretty terrible. Heavenfall said that it can be modded in and mentioned it(and how to do it, I believe) in a similar topic made a few days ago.

When you click on the city their is a rename button if it is not showing it is to the right under details--i think it is name details i do not have game open but it is there.

The list i have no idea sorry.
