Bug with map movement

I have a strange bug when I move across the map that I noticed in the beta and it still seems to be present. all of a sudden I will have path set(not where I want to go) and no matter what I do it directs me back to that point.For example I will set 4 spaces east, move 2 and then it will send me west if that makes sense.Has anyone come across this and if so is there a fix?
