Question on Custom Factions and Units
Hi.
I am a fans of Fall from Heaven and got Fallen Enchantress just to know Kael's work. This game is great, my compliments to Brad, Kael and all crews. I am sure that you were pouring all of your best (thoughts, energy and love) to this game. I hope for FE's success in the present and future
I have several suggestions and questions on gameplay :
- I created a new faction with Blood of Amarian, The Decalon, Adept as traits. After researching Spellbooks, I can't find where to buy the spellbooks to teach my Sovereign and Champion magic discipline.
- I researched Enchantment. The tech screen said that this will unlock Mage. But I can not train any Mages in any cities. Is this because of my custom faction? Or do I need to build something else before training Mage?
- I can't find Kingdom and Empire units sub-sections in in-game Hiergamenon! Thus, I can not check Mage and its prereqs (if any). Where can I find the sub-sections?
- If the Hiergamenon has not had unit sub-sections, I think it is imperative to have them. It would be great if the Hiergamenon also shows custom units and factions.
- How can I create a custom race blood using in-game custom function (not by modding the xml)?
- How can I create a custom magic unit (shooter, magical attack, with various spells as abilities), using in-game design unit (not by modding xml)?
- Can I restric a custom unit to a certain kingdom/empire/custom faction? How can I do that?
- I think there should be a crystal-making/iron-making buildings/spells (with high cost, if necessary). It is hard to play magic kingdom without crystal mine
I only play with FE for two hours, but this game really a gem! Congratulations and thank you once again for all FE team members!
