Direct X portion of Installer fails the install and then

I opened up my task manager and click on setup.exe 32 and attempt to delete it because the installer locked up. Then it starts installing and the window pops up do I want to really stop this process and I cancel it and the game finally installs. I don't know what happened to Direct X install portion though it never installed or worked.

I would suggest you just delete the whole game off your hard drive and start over.....

Run the installer again, then wait a bit, or go get a coffee. After you come back, the game should have finished the install and you can proceed with playing the game.

If you play any games whatsoever, you probably already have DirectX
