Just a suggestion

from Elemental Forums

Hello guys,

I hope everyone is alright and be enjoying a nice summer.

 

Now my post is slightly unrelated to the game at the time, but I will just make it since I know that game developers really read their forums.

Unlike other games, i really do love the work that Elemental developers are doing and even answering their posters/gamers/customers.

 

So my suggestion is pretty much about their partners. As I know they tend to cooperate and help each other with other small/medium game developers which all deliver great games which emphasize in quality unlike big developers like Blizzard who dont care at all.

 

So back to my point, I recently did stumble upon a nice game from a small developer, I guess most people already know it. It is Path of Exile.

Dont misunderstand me this is no adverticement guys, It just startled me that such a small game company could suprass Diablo 3 in game quality and it is still in beta, so just imagine.

 

So since I know developers in Elemental read the forums, I will just suggest them to drop an eye over there and probably try to form some bonds with them in benefit of future games.

I know you are pretty much in turn-based game rather than real time, but I really think that a future cooperation between those two game studios could really do miracles :)

So what do you think guys?  Derek Paxton has any comment on it?

If Path of Exile is RTS then I'm not interested. Unless it is similar to Total war or King Arthur or Homeworld.

Path of Exile is an action rpg like Diablo.

 

I don't have too much experience in this, but generally studios don't collaborate on projects. I am not sure that collaboration is that useful, sometimes culture clashes and failure to divide responsibilities will cause problems.
