How do you keep artifacts if stripping planets destroys them and removes your ownership of the artifact? It seems like a major drawback to this new playstyle.
you don't have to strip all of your planets,
but in doing so you get a large amount of money to make up for your artifact loss...
so it all depends upon what you need exactly
As mobile VL it is hard to defend some random planets that are spread out, like artifact planets. I think the artifacts should transfer to random capital ships and can be lost if the capital ship is lost
heres how you do it unless they already patched it! you
search the planet first
then upgrade population> while its upgrading you initiate strip to the core
whola u have an artifact active even whithout the planet
p.s. strip inner planets, keep outer incase you have to retreat and repair
You mean the top left planet upgrade that reduces upkeep and increases pop?
yep upgrade 2 artifact, then one pop while its still upgrading you strip it! but a hotfix went out so i dont know if this would work anymore
