First impressions

After problems with a C++ error on registration, and then the 'messed up registry' message when I got past that - it is looking nice and I like the changes to the interface from the original game.

However, the tutorial text has a number of typos and the game itself crashed after about 2 minutes.  I had read on the net that the beta was now looking and running better than the old game - hmmm.

I will try again tomorrow - all too much for me - like the bad old days.  Some sleep will see me right and I'll note the errors I find and what the log says about the crashes.

The tutorial I would skip if I were you. It does not get a lot of love as the game is in development. Just start up a game and try stuff out. As questions on the forums as you go. Good luck. The game is amazing!

Yeah, those tutorials were made pre-Beta 1  :(  Beta 4 will get/need fresh ones.

When I first played, I started with the tutorials and straight away I thought I had made a bad dicision and wasted my money.  But after starting the  proper game I could see it was only the tutorials that were very bugged.

Start the game and you will like. :)
