[Possible Bug] Kraxis gets 4 ophidians how?

So I'm fighting the kraxis, seeing a lot of "unfalling legions," and in general keeping things under control. Then Kraxis decides to invade my territory with an army of four ophidians. Since they don't get snake worship and no faction that does is in the game, I'm tempted to call this one a bug-- how did they get their hands on ophidians?

 

Of course, if somebody knows exactly how they could do this, I'd love to know how (and then do it next game..... }:) )

The most likely scenario is that Kraxis is using the diplomacy power on Ophidian's he has fought; best to check and see if this is the case/possible is to roll a diplomat avatar and see if the power is affecting both mobs and troops. (I have yet to roll as a diplomat; being a beastlord and tearing towns a new one with my wild armies is just too much fun.)

But nobody else in the game had snake worship, so nobody could have recruited those ophidians and Karavox couldn't have stolen them from anybody...

actually if you make a custom sovereign you can still play Umber. The faction still exists, I had a really fun game where I made my own toon and overran the world with ophidians. The way the new lair mechanic works you can have a ton of them with just a few lairs. It was very amusing to watch Torax squish one per turn while I was lobbing spells at him.

In my game Resolyn was doing this as well. They were coming from a lair next to their city. When I conquered their city they were popping up for me too...

Funny, saw Altarians (Oh what is theyre leaders name...?) come at me with a drake, not sure what that was about, then I killed it :)

The bug where you can double click the build button for ophidian and drake lairs still seems to exist.

Any one can build them   :grin:
