x-fire and Elemental

Is there a resion why I can't get x-fire (gaming chat serveis, not ATI vido card cross fire) to work with elemental: WOM or FE?

I like so I can IM my girl friend while in game since she gets mad at me for ignoring her. if I don't respond every time she sends me a message.

It sounds like the problem is with your girlfriend.

All trolling aside, have you tried enabling the windowed mode? I use this mode and go to chat by tapping the start button, which brings up the task bar. I am sure a real windowed mode and other features are being worked on, but for the beta that might have to be your solution.
