So Corvetts SHOULD die ...... well THAT explains a lot :)

Is this perspective thing, or is that Vasari Loyalist Titan that much bigger than all the others?

It seems now that people who face Advent rebels now have a choice. Do I build mines to fend off the other races, but in return guarantee my death to an Advent Rebel Titan, or do I have an "Open Access" policy on all of my worlds?

The Vasari One really is bigger, but perspective modifies the above screenshot nevertheless, more interesting the Vasari doesn t have to face the direction it wants to teleport.

Well probably there will be caps on the abilitys so a few 100 Corvetts probably won t work.

As stated a level four GTFO bubble from TEC loyatist will kill all the corvets but if you don't kill them they will eat you alive....such wonderfull beuty there are other synergies i see too but people are going to have to play me to find out which can be a problem since I play random and role dice over what startegy I choose then draw cards sometimes in the middle of the game to see whats next for me :D

He sounds like a crazy liar, but I have seen him do it, but he does bring up many a good points even if he does not tell us the strategies.
With these titans, we are new seeing some synergies that a player might accidentally give to his Advent opponent. This will really encourage priority targeting.

It needs to be big - remember, it can turn into a Vasari Loyalist's capital planet. You will need a lot of space to house an entire planetary population.

o how does the vasari no home world thing work or w/e it was lol

My guess is that if the player has a titan out on the field, a certain tech become researchable - once researched, the capital planet becomes the titan.

OMFG can't wait ! But what is point defense weapon on advent titans ?

im just not sure if "Phase:Capitalship:Phasebattleship2" is the right reference (probably isn t since it s not working

Try "Phase:CapitalShip:Battleship2"...

Appropriate capitalization is important me thinks (the C and S in CapitalShip...then the B in Battleship2)...

I would assume it is like Flak weapons on current TEC titans.

well it better be because the thing can turn into an entire moving planet so it should be pretty big

I changed it to:

group
            condition
                type "PlanetOwnerIsRaceNormalStart"
                param "TechLoyalist"
            owner "PlanetOwner"
            colonizeChance 1
                items 6
                item "Psi:Titan:Loyalist"
                item "Psi:Titan:Rebel"
                item "Phase:Titan:Rebel"
                item "Phase:Titan:Loyalist"
                item "Tech:Titan:Loyalist"
                item "Tech:Titan:Rebel"

But nothing happens...

Note that I only have 6 groups to begin with (instead of your twelve). And the parameter TechLoyalist is nowhere to be found...

you sure you changed ...\Steam\SteamApps\common\sins of a solar empire rebellion\GameInfo\GalaxyScenarioDef ?

AND played as Loyalist WITHOUT quickstart ?

AND you changed the first template, looking like this :

planetItemsTemplate
    templateName "Template:DefaultHomePlanetSetup"
    subTemplates 0
    groups 12
        group
            condition
                type "PlanetOwnerIsRaceNormalStart"
                param "TechLoyalist"
            owner "PlanetOwner"
            colonizeChance 1

AND you tried different maps (razor edge worked for me)

Ah I got it now, turns out I was messing with the wrong file.

thanks

The Advent Rebel Titan is even more hilarious if you consider the fact that the Rebels get tech that randomly resurrects their destroyed ships at semi-regular intervals.

Blair nailed it, they're a god damn zombie horde.

A suggestion I would have for the Vasari Loyalist "To the Core" ability is that it works on unowned planets as well as planets you own, pending balance. Otherwise, when the Vasari Loyalist fleet decided to get up and abandon planets, it would be nigh impossible to colonize planets for draining them due to hostile culture (which thematically doesn't make sense - if you're stripping a world, who cares what the locals think?) and the lack of ability for the Vasari to spread / repress culture themselves. As for hostile planets, well, we have the Evacuator's lvl 6 ability for that, which if you have a nice sized end game fleet, you could have a couple.

Bear in mind I only play vs. the AI, as I don't have time to invest a couple of hours where I can't pause / save and pick up the game at a later point, so I can't speak to the different dynamics of multiplayer.
