Vasari Titans in Rebelian - A First Glimpse at Some Abilities.

Vasari Titans in Rebelian - A First Glimpse at Some Abilities.

GreenFrogOnAFence had a wonderful idea. Feed the Vasari neutral colony cheap ships in order to get an idea as to what the Vasari Loyalist Titan can do.

I am currently trying to get a full index of its active abilities.

The following stat card shows the status of my scout ships after the Vasari Titan starts to heal itself. The  drain lasts for about 24 seconds.

The following picture suggest that large amounts of ships is not the way to fight this monster... It seems as though it robs other ships of their hull and antimatter in an attempt to replenish its own. Small, yet powerful fleets (composing of a Titan and support ships) will be the way to deal with this Vasari Titan.

The Titan's stats at level ten. Please take into consideration that this is a "Tier 0" Titan. I doubt that any neutral colony can research things like more hull, weapons or even shields. Also, at level 10, it can house four squadrons.

So . . uh . . . I annihilated it. Like bodied it. As the Ragnarov.

I took off its shields before it even got into range.

It only took 2000 points of shield off.

Funniest thing? I turned off auto attack on accident. Didn't even need it.

Going to try as the Ankylon . . . but . . . pretty underwhelmed. :/

Like I said before - the Titan is at tier zero. The neutral colonies can not tech up. It is no surprise that a higher tier titan won. Besides, I think that the Vasari's Titan here has its strength in attacking fleets.

We also can not be sure if the AI is using all available skill points as well.

There are some hints about the names of the titan abilities in the rebellion files:

sins of a solar empire rebellion/GameInfo/TITAN_PHASELOYALIST.entity says
TitanAbilityMicroPhaseJumpAbilitySuffusionAbilityDesperation

which would suggest Abilities named "Micro Phase Jump", "Suffusion" and "Desperation" for the loyalist's titan.

sins of a solar empire rebellion/GameInfo/TITAN_PHASEREBEL.entity says TitanAbilityNanoLeechAbilityNanoRemitAbilityGravityPulseAbilityDisseverGravityWell

this would be "Nano Leech", "Nano Remit", "Gravity Pulse" and "Disserver Gravity Well" for the vasari rebel's titan

Those three abilities you named indeed belong to the VLT (The Maw is another ability). This was my first thread/post, and this was before I set up my research/ability list, which is https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/419390.

Hey Yottsu, you mentioned recently, there were some changes made to Vasari too, and you were playing around with them. Care to elaborate what exactly was changed/finished?

Quite a bit. Each faction now has an icon for their Corvette in the research screen, and now they have their own corvette skin (before, they used the Advent's skin and did 10 laser damage). The VLT now fires Vasari weapons instead of the TEC weaponry and strike craft that it once used. Stripping a planet to the core now has its own animation - before, the Inspire and Impair effect was used (it also tells you what resources you will be getting before you strip the planet). There still are issues though - not all capital ships are being seen a labs, resulting you to have to still have a dependency on a few planets.

Thanks for info. I suppose you still do not need Titan to strip the planet. right? And does the Titan fire phase missiles, or those new reddish shots, like on that trailer?

I think i will give them a try again tomorrow, lol

It is no problem. If I can not, however, recall what weapons it used.
