What are the restrictions on digital downloads?

I had a digital download of GalCiv2 Ultimate Edition on my PC. PC is destroyed, I'm stuck on someone else's PC while I wait for my new PC to be built and I have a hankering to play GalCiv2.

I assume I'm able to redownload and reinstall it from StarDock, but is there any difficulty in doing so, so soon before getting yet another PC?

And is there anything I have to do to un-activate the version on my old, no-longer-existant PC?
