Another first impressions post

Started playing the game yesterday, and I'm very, very impressed.  It's a lot of fun to play, and I've gotten fairly far in one game.

For me the game has been very stable, with only one crash so far (sent the debug report in ;) ).

A few things I noticed:

1. In tactical battles certain special abilities take a long time to process.  On mounted champions, setting the defense mode when equipped with shield takes about 10 seconds or so, as does the Ebbenwolf's Deadly Bite ability.

2. Maybe I'm just blind, but I haven't seen a handy-dandy button that automatically moves me on to the next un-moved unit.  That would be very nice feature.

3. Something I've been sitting on since E:WoM, is the upgrading of roads cumulative by the number of caravans that travel said road?  I'm under the impression that each caravan maintains it's own count, and the road upgrades when the first caravan reaches its full count.  It'd be nice if busy routes upgrade fast, while branch roads to out-of-the-way places upgrade slowly.

3. This is already a feature. Every time a route is traveled successfully, it gets closer to upgrading. So close cities get roads faster. 

I would say that shortening the time to upgrade is a logical adjustment as it can take even the closest of cities up to 200 turns to level. This can be tweaked by the player in the XML of course.

Two more things:

1. Head of Torax appears to take money away from a city.  It's registering as -100%gold, giving me a negative income in that city.

2. Mantle of Oceans increases spell mana cost, rather than decreasing it.

1. You should make sure to make a separate post about this in the support subforum. They seem to already have fixed 2. according to the .76 beta change log.
