League of Gamers created against SOPA and PIPA

Red 5 studios just created this group here against SOPA and PIPA.

 

Red 5 studios being founded by Mark Kern aka the former team leader of World of Warcraft.

They just gave the group a starting donation of $50,000 to it's funds of this non-profit organization.

 

They are also trying to get 100,000 petition signatures against PIPA right now.

Be interesting to see if they succeed.

I also saw that tommorow, there are several big name sites that are going black for 24 hours in protest over SOPA including Wikipedia, Reddit, Craigslist, and Minecraft. Good to see a lot of publicity against this law!

The sight where I watch most of my tv went black in support today. I think the real danger here is that cybercrime will escalate in response to this ridiculous breach of freedom. I am sure Anonymous will have something to say about this.
