Sins of a Solar Empire, Entrenchment, Trinity/Diplomacy Updates

Today Ironclad Games and Stardock Entertainment are releasing minor updates to Sins of a Solar Empire and its micro-expansions - Entrenchment and Trinity/Diplomacy. This patch updates the games to use a new host for the Ironclad Online server which is now hooked into a more powerful backend system for improved performance.

Registered customers can update their game via the GameStop PC Downloads App (formerly known as Impulse).

I was just able to log onto the old ICO without patching.  I'm guessing that some players who don't read the forums won't know that a patch is available.

"Can't even download newest patch.. gives me an error on GameStop saying "Error: File downloaded is smaller than expected."

I have the same god damned problem.  Somebody needs to fix this shit.

If you're having trouble updating, please uninstall your game and reinstall. That will be the quickest solution.

to manpapper. first uninstall your whole sins game. when you reinstall sins it will ask for language type if I'm right. install in order, sins, entrenchment to diplomacy

when i try to register my game with stardock it says error request could not be process i mean WHAT THE FUCK i cant get any updates because i cant register it with the gamestop app

What Sins do you have. I'm afraid Gamestop stopped accepting retail registrations of Sins now, see if you can register it at the Stardock store (I don't know if this link will work as you need to sign in, but for me it was here https://www.stardock.com/accounts/register).

Hello,

I'm trying to update my sins trinity to version 1.37 but when I go to download the update from stardock it says that trinity is not on my computer.... except that it IS. any help?

anthonycaccavale91, are you talking about the update download from the stardock downloads page (https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products and log in with YOUR details) or is it the FULL download?

from what I remember about the update it was for the trinity 1.3x to 1.37, so if you have a version that it does NOT support then it does claim that you do not have the version it wants to update, so you need to use the FULL DOWNLOAD to update/install
