Phase Space Officially Discovered by CERN Scientists

Well, actually....

Ok, they didn't discover phase space. But a CERN experiment did observe particles moving faster than the speed of light. They've checked and re-checked their calculations, and have found no error. And they are dumbfounded.

This experiment remains to be validated by other scientists, but if proven accurate (and there's a really high chance that it will), then we will FINALLY have achieved what we've always wanted....we can finally say that Albert Einstein was wrong about something!

Of course, we'll have to completely restructure what we know about physics....

Anyway, here's an article about the experiment:

Tachyon's have been theorized since the 60s. And Einstein's theory was grounded in the constant that is the speed of light in a vacuum, using it as a point of reference for relativity. I'm sure if you adjust the constant (given that the speed of light itself actually varies in minute amount), then you will find it very well within the ballpark, but him being off isn't too big of a surprise. Truth is that he is still right about many other things, putting him ahead of the curve.

What this proves more than anything is that we need to look below our usual perspective and strive to work on the quantum foam itself.

Nice tidbit, for being as brief as it is.

If you want to deal in something close to phase space, look up Heim theory and its potential application to sub-space relations. It's near impossible to understand the man, but the very basis of his work was cracking the Heizenberg Uncertainty Principle.

Well I was just making a joke about Albert Einstein. But I am liking the sound of that CERN phase drive :P
