Whether it is "idle" or not?

I have just started and it seems there is no good way to learn the game. No good tutorial. The campaign is not a good tutorial. Why is there no good manual? The vids assume you know half the stuff.

I start a game. The map is so boring looking.

I have figured out something.

I love the Galcivs and I need something else to play.
