Marketing -wise wouldn't it be better to promote Elemental FE as Elemental "II" FE?
This has been asked internally, but it has to be noted that, given how WoM fared, it's vital that ELE2, when it does come, needs to 'bring it' in a big way. FE as ELE2 would have people crying that it's not different enough.

I beleive the marking spin ATM is to push the stand-alone nature of Fallen Enchantress..make sure people understand that WoM is getting overhauled in the process (and that we're not just twaeking Elemental and calling it a day).

Even with it being FREE to people that originally purchased the game (and through 2010) we still get flack about "starting a new title when the old one wasn't fixed", and I'd worry that adding that 2 would simply perpetuate the issue.

But if you guys get it and it FEELS like a vastly improved sequel, then we've done our jobs :)

Looks pretty nice, quite the improvement. I especially like the new fallen territory, nice blueish colour.

Two thing I wonder about though:

1. Any improvements for the cloth map? Ie. visible city gates and beaches, more distinct icons for buildings so they're identifiable more easily? Terrain identifiable on the cloth map?

2. The bloom. Oh why, why does it have to be so white? Imo it just looks horrible, the white patches on beaches and in the desert and the snow on certain mountaintops? Can't bloom be changed, so it's not just a white glow, overshining stuff like a nuke just exploded there?

While we're on the subject of maps, will you please improve the mini-map?  Make it useful and pretty like GalCiv 2 not EWOM.

One of the first things we did :)  IIRC, that was actually the seed that led to the 'stone and glass' UI style that's in FE today.
