Will I be able to play this game enjoyably with an nvidia geforce fx 5500?
I can't answer your question. I'm not sure, but you might also want to make a topic on the Elemental Support board, they might respond quicker there.
The game's minimum requirement is a Geforce 6800. As the FX5500 is significantly below that (1/4 to 1/3 the throughput at best), it's unlikely to be very playable at all, if it even runs, sorry.
wooah thats old, you need something more mordern like anything of the new cards that are around nivdia Gtx 200 + or Radeon Hd 5000+ and it might be better to check out the other specs Cpu and Ram you have because you might need a new computer.
I am running on an older graphis card - and i don't have problems with EWoM. But I generally stick to smaller maps as i hate the city spam. (Same for space games - with colony spam). Its a getforce gfx 590 (Windows XP) - which is under the 6800 required- but does alright..
