Curious about champions and if they gain abilties

Yeah, I was just wondering this, do they gain more abilities as they level up? same thing with the sovereign as well do they gain more abilities as they level and at what levels do they gain them?  Just curious if they gain more later on as they're leveling up and such.

It is an expansion, they mentioned abilities for champs and sovs on level up in a dev diary about FE.

doh... how did I miss that >_< need to re-read the thing again I suppose :P

so I guess their is no point in leveling up champs besides adding stats to them so they survive battles and such at the moment... ho hum
