Changes not listed in the 1.19 Patch Notes (Naughty Stardock)

What changes in 1.19 have you found that were undocumented?

Here's what I've found so far...

Spell Immunity is now a tactical combat spell.

Kingdoms now get diplomatic capital based on the sov's charisma when researching refined diplomacy.

Lord Markinn has had his organized trait stripped from him.

------

I support the spell immunity change, but that was something big enough to make it to the changelist.

There is actually a ton of small changes like these in every patch, way too many to print in the patch notes.

I've found that the only way to know about all the changes is to compare the core XML of "before" and "after" patch (and read the changelog, ofcourse).

That's how I find them. I just wished that they would have listed the spell immunity change. It was definitely needed, but they should have let people know, especially since this patch was geared to let the AI cast more spells.

They have to have a comprehensive list of all the changes; why not release it?  Is there a reason not to tell the end-users about all of the changes?  I don't mind a summary on the forum thread, but there should be a comprehensive list included with the actual download.

No reason that patch notes can't include every change impacting game play. My company does the equivalent for the business application I manage. If it affects the user, or functionality, it goes in.

Here's some changes I noticed:

1. (Tactical) AI focuses attacks on a single unit, purposely depleting counter-attacks. Archers focus on weaker units.

2. (Stategic) AI moves more units into their city when an enemy army approaches.

3. Can no longer zoom in on character models, they disappear when very close.

4. Alt-tabbing in takes a really long time now.

5. Swords crossed icon beside power rating of factions you are at war with. It's a little too close though and partially overlaps text.

6. Changed title screen background

7. Unlockable "achievements". (anyone know where I might view these?)

8. Units no longer occupy city after defeating it. Actually had an enemy reclaim a city immediately after I took it, because my turn ended while I was still outside the city, even though I had just defeated it.

9. The tile cap in cities seems to have been greatly increased. I'm not sure this is a good thing, I like the idea of bigger cities but only as a trade-off for something else. (like fewer cities overall)

Yop, I was surprise too. But you know what: I LOVE IT! Now it make more sense to have a big capital and put every big building in one city insteed of having a lot of city with each having a world wonder. :) Love you guy!
