Do you kill Threads?

I have a habit of doing this but, when I am on a thread and I answer it I would check back for months and I would see no new posts on there except for the one that I have posted. Had anyone ever done this before?

I am amazing at thread killing.

However, It is not often I actually want a thread dead... but I do have an arsonal for that as well.

In Soviet Russia, the threads kill you!

Was that lame enough to kill this thread? o_O

I kill threads most of the time because I post something incredibly awkward or irrelevant and everyone ragequits from the thread because they don't feel like talking to me anymore. :'( Then I follow them to the next new thread. :D

The goal is not to kill this thread... its to just talk about thread killing

If the goal was to kill the thread... then it would just turn into another 'last person to post wins' thread...

and we all know how that goes.

Edit: xer07, you DONT kill threads... you just draaag them out far past their expected life. ;P

What would have been funny is if no one responded.

Either way is funny to me. Whether this becomes a zombie thread or whether I win.

On the first page of my Replies list, I see five or six threads where I made the last post. I suppose I could be 'killing' the occasional thread, but sometimes I just give the last answer to a question.

Only a few times have I deliberately tried to make an annoying thread stop. Mostly I just ignore them, or give up and help a few weirdos make sure GeneralEtrius always remembers what a mistake it was to start that ban-game monstrosity.

Nothing is better than a good healthy dose of weirdness.

Unless you are me. Then everyone runs away in abject terror.

What? Jafo? Who'd ever have realized?

From "Who's Who Whom" (corrected by Jafo):

*Jafo - 1. 2001-2011 "Van Helsing Wooden Spike" Spam Killer Award.

           2. 2001-2012 "TOS Violator Euthanization Kevorkian Trophy" holder.

           3. The "Guinness Grammy" for the grammar, spelling and plagiarism detector ten year "Most Irritating Grammarian (Alive)" category.

Who else would have corrected the Award itself?

           4. The "Chief Sitting Bull Award" for most ever 'scalps' taken.

           5. "The Mario Andretti" land speed record for killing spam.

But he only gets to kill the thread if it's the OP that's spam.
