I wonder what do you think the future will look like from 2011 onwards? I hope it will be like back to the future or Star Trek. I want it to be like that. I wonder what 2057 will look like after I wach the documentary. I hope it will look like that. I wonder that though.

 

Also no 2012 answers I don't belive in 2012 because remember when everyone thought the world was going to end in the year 2000 for Y2K?

2057?  But to me, that sounds so yesterday.

I want the year 358,296 A.E. to be tomorrow (AE = after enlightenment).

Cyborgenics

Stargates

Free economies (ie, no currency or credits etc)

No governments

Universalism instead of privation

One form of language (telepathy)

...that kinda stuff.

the future ehh??

if...IF... the mankind doesnt destroy itself till 2050 and if...IF... we dont invent a satanic AI that wants to destroy the universe THEN the future is awesome: timetravel, FLT (faster them light travel) ,wormholes , AND...BEST OF ALL...awesome futuristic spaceships with perfect analogies

weed will be legal.

Nobody will just be one race, ethnicity... wee will all be 6 or 7 different ethnicities and able to take citizenship for atleast 3 nations legally!

2011+? Depends on the era. As for the near future, I predict the collapse of the US into a megacorporate interest somewhere around the 2080-2120 mark. Past that, massive economic collapse of Europe with Germany essentially buying up new territory, a revitalization of Russia, China getting a space station (or something), the rebirth of a British Empire, mass unification in Africa.

3000s+, dunno.

5000s+? Well, in grim darkness of the far future there is only war, to steal a quote from a favored SF setting of mine.
