Mana cost free imbune trick?

I just thought of a trick, not sure if it works or not, haven't tried it and I'm at stupid old work.

If you use a Sov's daughter to imbue your champions as casters and then marry the girl off, do the champions remain imbued and do they still cost mana upkeep?  Someone try it, if not, I won't be able to for awhile, I have to have an important talk with the girlfriend after work, so that means she is either breaking up with me or wants to move in...and either way, I'll be too busy crying to play the game.

One funny trick I did was to un-imbue someone who had imbued someone else,  But that resolves itself by the fact that removing imbue doesn't seem to dispel the inbued characters spells or reduce their mana cost.

If your girlfriend leaves you, you should definitely un-imbue her along with taking back all your stuff from her inventory. If she moves in with you, quit to main menu and start a new game.

The talk was about moving in, luckily I used the Konami code at the right moment and kept the girlfriend while convincing her it was too soon to move in together.

That is a dangerous power-up my friend. With great power comes great responsibility. Only use it when she wants to elevate relationship status, or when she says she has a headache, or when she's asleep, or if she keeps talking, or when you want to play Elemental, or if she asks you for money, or....

Lucky you remembered to substitute <- and -> for the L and R buttons though, else your girlfriend would have exploded. You did remember right.......?

She hasn't exploded yet...tempting sometimes...

If you do decide to play for keeps, imbue her before the wedding and all your kids and grandkids will come with free casting without the upkeep.

Stop the Press!  Is she a gamer?

If yes then she is already imbued...  And thus your prospective offspring will be born imbued w/o upkeep.  Thus is the makings for a happy family and unity! :D

Not a gamer, and she looks funny at me when I talk about games, like I'm an adult that plays with GI Joes.  But she's passed out on the couch, so it's game time.

Also, you can have a Sov and a bride that are not Channelers, and all their kids will be channelers.  I use the non magic Sovs from the book and their kids can cast magic.

Couples that play together stay together... ...so you better get her a copy of EWoM so she can MP w/ you when it becomes available.

I didn't realize that.  I led myself to believe it was my way and never even considered that it was pointless.
