Ok, so I decided to create a new Chatroom, because the old one was getting pretty....old!  ;P

Everyone may post here, as well as in the good'ol Flameroom...I mean, Chatroom *_*

I would like to keep this Chatroom civilized. Well, as civilized as most forum threads are (doesnt mean that you all have to be polite like Oatesy, lol).

So for this reason, I may update the OP of this thread in the future, posting certain thread rules, as I see fit.

For now though, post away, and everyone is welcome! :)

2. "Snakes on a plane is the greatest of all time"  is wrong as well. I am not sure about that, but "is the greatest of all time" seems grammatically wrong as well. You could say "is the greatest thing of all time". That would be better.

Also, sarcasm that is difficult to detect, is a FAIL sarcasm, as stated by Altaux. Because we are writing on a forum thread, and I cant see your face, or hear your voice, you should use better ways of showing your sarcasm in your comments, like a smiley, or using " " or something >_>

No you really don't morpheas, I've heard you on vent.  Living on the forums where you have an hour to type everything out if you need it is a different story.  You may know where to put your nouns and your verbs but there are nuances of the language that you don't understand.  Do me a favour please and look up the definition of the literary device hyperbole, actually just read this whole page for me http://olc.spsd.sk.ca/de/resources/litdevices/index.html.  Also no, adding thing to what I said is not necessary unless I'm speaking to an english professor-wannabe.

Normally I jump at every opportunity to disagree with morph, but he is correct in this instance.  Is the greatest thing of all time is a complete sentance, is the greatest of all time is not, it lacks an anchor to make the sentance have a purpose.

Tell me this morpheas, do you think if you said to me "oh man Shane, I had a boring weekend, all I did was sit in the off topic section of the demigod forums for like 1000 hours talking to strangers" that I would take you literally and think "wow he found a way to freeze time so that he could spend 1000 hours on the forums in a single weekend"?  Because that would be comparative in stupidity to me saying a dumb movie about snakes on a plane is greater than anything and you responding by saying "no Shane, I think you mean it's only the greatest movie, because your comment implies that it's the greatest of all things, and that's silly."  Greatest thing or greatest movie are both silly you idiot.
