Old Sovereign Question in Regards to 1.1 Beta

So with the release of the 1.1 patch looming, I have a question for those who chose to participate in the 1.1 Beta:

I have a Sovereign who I created with all the 4 elemental spellbooks. Say I download the 1.1 patch, where it removes the option to select the elemental spellbooks in the creator. Is it possible for me to retain my Sovereign, with all the spellbooks, into future versions of the game? I was just thinking this because Sovereigns created in the past with the Organized trait were allowed to keep the trait in later versions, where it was removed.

It's all XML. If your sovereign doesn't get to keep his spellbooks, you can easily make it so that he has them anyway, even if its not an in-game option.

So in that case, I could keep my Sovereign through all the patches, and he'd still have all his spellbooks no matter what?

You might have to change things to keep him updated, but having spellbooks from the start is certainly possible.
