IT'S A BETA PEOPLE!! BETA, DO YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS?

Geesh, I keep seeing posts complaining about the bugs.  They said it is a beta, that means there are bugs. You shouldn't have downloaded it then and kept playing 1.09e.  You were all warned.

 

So please can everyone STOP with the crying, you sound stupid.  Stardock didn't just do what other companies would have done and said FU consumers.  We'll improve it in Elemental 2.  They have a new guy on the scene, they are making it a new game, and so you should comment on the changes, report bugs, BUT STOP THE FREAKING WHINING.  Be happy they are dedicated in getting the game where it can be, instead of just ditching it, and us, and start work on the second one to get money out of us.

We are getting two expansions already for free.  Talk about the changes, report the bugs, STOP WHINING LIKE YOU WERE NOT WARNED THIS IS A BETA.  Give them a break they are writing a new game after release.  They admitted the mistake they made in the release, so stop beating a dead animal.  Grow up kids, and think before you judge and cry.  Everyone is frustrated, not just YOU.

"1.1 Beta is just another buggy broken beta, after 7-8 months one would expect something better, this version isn't much better than the crap they put out in April! The magic system blows chunks, tactical combat is just boring and the game just keeps on crashing!

They should consider renaming Elemental to "Beta Testing the Broken Game"!"

Ok, so maybe I went overboard with the thread, but I want to remind those people who are not discussing the changes or reporting the bugs, but are only complaining and whining are stupid because they are writing a whole new game.  Instead of just making it bug free and that is it, they are writing a different game to make it the way it can be. These type of comments in quotes are what I am referring to. It isn't about not reporting bugs, DUH for those who have no reading comprehension, but simply complaining. I'm tired of seeing it on these boards.  Give Stardock a break, do you think they wanted to spend this money and time this much?  Don't you think they are frustrated too?  They could have taken the easy road, and fixed all bugs, BUT NOT THE GAME. They are doing the right thing.

 

I did call it a rant which is what it is, but those who are not trying to help with the game are getting on my nerves.  I wrote this with an emotional response, which maybe I shouldn't have, but 2-3 months of these whiny complaints like they are the only ones going through it just get on my nerves.

I really wish we could talk about game balance and things to make it better but, the fact remains the game is broken and unplayable.  Painting a car with a broken engine won't make run any better.

I was part of the Beta before release and reported the same bugs/crashes with each new release, along with a lot of other people, what good has it done? How many times have we heard from Frogboy, telling us once again that he's sorry and will fix it in the next release?

Do really think reporting another crash bug will really help fix anything at this point?

I would rather hear the latest patch is in QA and will be released when it ready VS. is good enough for a beta release!
