The Elemental gods are smiling on me

I have been following Elemental since the beginning. I even took part in the Beta for a short time when it became obviouse that my old Dell P4 machine was going to have a problem running the game well. So, I have been waiting for patches and tweaks that would make the game more playable for my machine and they have been getting better. I decided to hold off even further until 1.1 and then hopefully talk my wife into agreeing that we need a new computer. I could not make the case I wanted this for a game so I tried other reasons...long and short of it is we never agreed so I have been patiently waiting.

Then BAM! The PC CPU and motherboard overheated and died! So, alas, I must get a new PC. I quickly contacted one of my PC geek coworkers (I mean that with respect) and hired him to build me a new machine. I will get it next week. Now I will be able to play the game as it was intended. Thanks Elemental karma!!!

I would wait until 1.1 to get a more positive experience. Should not be many days after you get your comp.

You said it'll be a week. If you're lucky, you'll get your comp on the same day that the 1.1 Beta is released. This is far more dependent on Stardock than your end... But like you said, the Elemental Deities are smiling on you... Consequently, we'd all be getting lucky too...
