When will we see it?

Just wondering when we will see Part 1 of the campaign for Destiny's Embers? I note it is still saying October on the status page. Not complaining, would just like an answer from someone in the know. Thanks.
Considering that Stardock seems to think a tutorial is the same thing as a campaign, I'm not overly excited about this.
With the way they are working on 1.1, they may be waiting to release the campaign when the major updates are finished. Their original timeline of October was probably partially based on the expectation of a successful launch, which would allow 1.1 to not come out for a few more months, whereas instead 1.1 has to be the priority at the moment.
I'm complaining.
We need some v1.1 changes for it to work.
Here's why:
Right now, there's no sense of urgency when playing. You can sit back and wail on the turn button. In v1.1, we have some systems that don't give bonuses to players who just sit around.
my favorite part is when frogboy shows up and complains his stuff isn't released yet.

I have a request for campaigns since is looks like they are being updated: that that more closely resemble the single player game. That there be city building and resource gathering, research, and AIs would play out as major factions in single player, being allied with the player if need be for the prograssion of the story, but still fully active.
The first one was a tutorial, which is why some features were disabled. I do not think you have any worries about city building and such being omitted. (you may have to worry about which faction you play, but that is another story)
