Quest Dialog...

So I've been playing Elemental since I got it (2 days ago) and so far the game is awesome, I love it, but I have to say the quest dialog (when it's trying to be funny) seems a little forced and kind of lame personally. For example, in the Wild Goose Chase quest, which I often get at the start of the game, the joke about you being after the one ring or something after finishing maybe 2 steps of the quest fell flat on its face. For one, it didn't feel like I had spent so long a time on the quest that I forgot about the objective.

Seriously though, it's the most trivial out of all the trivialities, and I barely even know why I'm posting about it, but it might warrant a little bit of attention in the next update.

Nah, that doesn't really need updating, even though I do agree. What needs updating about quests is SOME WAY to locate the next part.  I have times where it doesn't show me where to go and I am playing on a large map, so it might take me another 100 or so turns to find the spot.  Sometimes I have been known to just stumble across the spot and go Oh, yeah, quest completed.

The quests themselves could be more "notable", taking a bit longer, but also logged and with clear instructions where to go (like in Final Fantasy XII, each quest is logged, with what to do clearly mentioned, and completed quests are grayed out), and higher level quests become more difficult. In Elemental, My Dear Watson, quests are usually simple, but like Gizmet said, no way to locate where to go next. And a couple times the other empires influence areas covered the Tavern where we have to return to complete the quest, and I dont want to have a treaty or declare war just to complete the quest.

I just thought they could've done a bit better with the quests' writing, seeing as Brad wrote a good book and all. \\
