Huge patches makes me frumple :(

Sorry but i have to say this at least once, i live in Barrow Alaska, we have by far the worst internet in the world (might be exaggerating a small bit here but its terrible). Can we get lots of small updates instead of the very few Gigantor updates ? As it is 500mb updates take me a whole day. Sure its selfish, but i am sure there are others out there who are in similar situations.

Anyhow thanks for all the hard work SD folks, you all are gems in the morass of ding dong devs out there.

I thought we were keeping the sizes manageable (less than 20megs)...are they showing up as half-gig bandwidth pigs?

None of the updates should be more than a few megs really.

No not yet, sorry i just dread it happening. . . See i just got done DLing yet another steam update for Supreme Commander.... holy crap 3 gigs in 2 weeks.

You are exactly right Frog, but alas there are some titles not Avail on Impulse/Steam so i let them share the load so to speak. Course now that i have moved to Alaska i tend to make more purchase with Impulse so i can get a boxed edition also. Usually i get the box before the Game finishes Downloading.

Now if we can just get SD and Impulse to take over GoG.com i will be a happy camper indeed :)
