...has anyone heard anything lately about the release date for v1.1? I'm assuming that since there hasn't been any official word lately, the devs have backed off the "September" target release date.
Anyway, just curious!
Well 1.09 is only targeted for this week as far as I know, so I doubt 1.1 is about to be released.
I thought I read a forum post that said 1.1 is coming in October some time, and the first micro-expansion is coming around Nov-Dec.
Yes, that information was available in the update schedule thread before it was horrifically obliterated by a nuclear bomb. What died there was a level of openness from the developers that may not return until the radiation has subsided. Lest we forget....
Based on what I've read, I believe 1.09 is aimed at sept 30, and 1.1 is aimed at oct 30. "Aimed" being the keyword there, because dates are always subjective.
I hope we don't have to wait an entire month for another update after 1.09. The more the merrier as long as they keep improving the game and fixing things. Take it one at a time, that's good and why the turtle wins the race.
Waiting 1 month isn't a long time to wait for another patch. I'd be happy with 1 month patches myself. You should get Paradox games where you wait years for a patch that finally fixes the games.
