I just received my SECOND LE BOX with differentpacking list order #'s

from Elemental Forums

I have just tis minute received my SECOND order # of elemental with different order numbers, but I had ordered a standard & later upgraded to LE

the first was on order 233933(print date 08/26/2010 ship 08/31/2010), the second on order 234983(print date09/03/2010 ship 09/03/10).

to the best of my memory I had ordered th std edition disc & download, then later upgraded to the LE, but do not remember what the order numbers were and did NOT order the LE twice.

I too received a second copy of the LE box.  The first was sent August 30, the second September 3, both Customs Declarations signed by the same person.  I'll be emailing sales next.

I also got a second copy of the LE. It also happened back when Sins of a Solar Empire was released. At that time I hadn't spoken out, I just assumed I got lucky, but now it's a pattern.

 

Both time I had pre-ordered the digital copy, and upgraded it to a physical copy (don't remember if SOASE had a limited edition), since I wanted the bonus. My guess is the original purchase and the upgrade are treated as separate orders, the first for the online edition + LE, the second for the LE.

wyldrage, sins had a CE (collectors Edition) and the digitial download only was ALSO an electronic CE, but regarding my elemental customs decs, they were by different people, the supply came from different distribution centres, so COULD BE a faulty communication between stardock and their distribution centres OR have been caused by the email asking where my order was.
