Anyone else receive an email from Stardock saying they will send another copy of the LE edition.

I have received an email saying that the original copy may have been lost so they are sending another one.

 

Mine was sent on the 24th of August and that is now 2 1/2 weeks ago. Not even the three full weeks yet.  I never sent an email complaining or anything. Guess I will be waiting 3 more weeks. They also said if I receive two copies to keep both. Sounds fishy to me as I have been having problems with my hotmail lately.

Has anyone else received this email also?

Oh well not that much fun as it is anyways. Maybe it will be alot better in a months time.

I got my copy in the mail yesterday in Australia - if you're in the US is it possible that they are tracking their postage items and are therefore aware that you didn't get yours yet?  who knows... but if that is what is happening then that's good customer service.  :)

I live in Canada but I was wondering if anyone else could confirm that they received it. I have been getting alot of rotten emails lately that are trying to get personal info from me so I am kind of wary.

Chances are it's legit. Especially if it's not actually asking any info from you. :P There have been complaints on the forums about people not getting their boxes, and some getting doubles, and as far as I'm aware the sales department was supposed to look into it. If they found some problem with a shipment batch to which your order belonged, it's entirely possible that they just decided to re-ship the whole batch instead of waiting for people to contact them.

Yes, I got that same email. They basically said that the first one is lost in the mail, that if it shows up I can keep it, and that a new one is on its way. I believe that a new one is on its way, but I have a hard time believing that so many were "lost in the mail".

Oh well, I just want my box :)
