Elemental - also viable for XP 64bit?

As above, is Elemental also viable for an XP 64bit setup?

It SHOULD work.  Sadly we do not have a native 64-bit version available at this time.   Its effectively the same as running any other x86 (32-bit) program on XP 64-bit.

 

I've not heard of any issues.

Tanks for your answer landisaurus.

I tried running it and didn't get any further than the start-up screen...and a complete freeze of my system...only help was the on/off switch....thought it might have anything to do with XP64 bit only running SP2 and not SP3 as the 32bit version...but if that is not the case...am re-installing now and will post the results...

 

ahhhhhhh, and here I thought it was Elemental freezing me...it was the virusscanner blocking the requested internet access (AVIRA - am by the way quite happy with it otherwise..) and it didn't show up on the screen..couldn't ALT+Tab out of it or anything...solution was just bklibdly clicking in the screen all over....am only glad it all works now..can only hope this wil help somebody feeling less stupid than me right now:)

XP x64 is based off Windows Server 2003 code, not XP code.  So the SP2 is basically SP3 level.
